I'm sure most of the people who read his biography hate the fact he's a "staunch republican" as well. I'm a registered Independent voter, I guess I'm "in the middle of the road". I can say I don't like this current administration b/c he's done nothing but hide "what's really happening from the public", and its not in a "good way"; Of course the media will always "softball question" Obama, and never really try to get to the real truths of all the horrible things that have happened. I think in this time we need a President who will fight for our country RATHER than constantly apologizing for the USA's actions. There is so much going on right now w/Israel (who I happen to love) it seems that Obama doesn't share the love for Israel though. I'm glad that Scott isn't a "typical Hollywood liberal/radical", believe it or not there are a lot of "closet case conservatives" in Hollywood, but will not come out b/c of the fact they will never get roles again. I mean look what happen to Ron Silver (may he RIP) before he died, he was very open to why he changed his political views, and in interviews has said he lost many friends b/c of his change, he also couldn't get an acting job, which was sad b/c he was an amazing talented actor even when he was a liberal. It just goes to show you that if you don't think the way Hollyb68wood liberals do than you can forget about getting movie and/or television roles. Its so hypocritical b/c I thought Democrats were suppose to be "open and tolerable" towards EVERYTHING. I guess not so much. Its the "Hollywood cliques" that get all the movie roles - same old bunch of actor/actresses.. sorry so long. As for Scott, they left out that he just had a baby, I don't know if its a boy or girl- just that James Caan was thrilled for his son Scott -he said in a interview.

How close are you and Alex OLoughlin [who plays Steve McGarrett on Five-0] after three years working on the show? Hes alpha and Im alpha so at first our egos kind of bumped. We were both sizing each other up, thinking: Alright, if we had to fight, how am I going to win this fight? But when youre stuck toget238her on an island, you take your time figuring out who you want to spend time with and were really good friends now. There was an interview with Scott Caan in The Metro in London a couple of years back. He himself says "I'm alpha," in response to a question. Any guy that has to say, in an interview no less, that he's an alpha male, really isn't one and he did come across as some overcompensating douche. It really wouldn't surprise me if he approved his bio.

I don't see what's wrong with writing that he's muscular, swaggering & tough. If you've seen a lot of his movies, that pretty much sums up his characters. There's no ego to it. It sounds like you're only saying that because he's 5'5". And, judging someone based on their height is238n't really fair or cool. He doesn't have to overcompensate, and his height has nothing to do with his acting. He's not the only actor to have "overdone" it in a movie. That constantly happens in fight scenes when actors/actresses are caught up in their character. Unless you have personally met Scott Caan, I would say your opinion is based on lack on knowledge more than anything else.

To be fair to the OP, his bio does sound rather self-serving.

I do know of some actors who write their own bios, but it seems like this "Kelly Ward" has also written bios for other people too. So either Scott likes to write bios of himself and other people, orKelly Ward is a real person.

It really does not read like thatmore of a rant judging by the words used.
