"Braveheart" was on local TV last night and I thought I'd watch it as it had been a while.
In the scene where Wallace is arriving at the execution site on the cart, I couldn't help thinking from a distance that his hair, short at front, long at back, made him look like Billy Ray Cyrus.
Suddenly, an idea for a short song shot through my little head. What if Billy Ray Cyrus had played the part of Braveheart, what would he have said to his tormentors as they laid him out on the slab, ready to remove his internals and show them to the crowd ? I reckon it would have been a bit like this:-
Dont take my heart, my achy-breaky heart
Dont take my kidneys or my spleen,
Dont take m111cy gall, my liver or my balls
Or any other organ in-between.
ya think ?
