As a kid, I always preferred Josie over Nicole on 'Charles in Charge.'
Not that I disliked Nicole, but I thought Josie was much cuter.
On rewatching recently, like so many others, I found Nicole better-looking, so my tastes have changed I guess, but I still don't think she was ever ugly.

I agree she was a cutie and a child at thatPeople don't bloom till later and a young girl is not suppose to be hot.. Now she's Just absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Nicole is old looking than her age and has not aged gracefully like Josie at all!

I only ever saw the opening credits of CIC. She didn't look anything special (certainly not "ugly" though), especially compared to Nicole Eggert.
But she's grown up n111cice! Real nice!

I always was (and still am) way more attracted to her than Nicole Eggert. I can't believe anyone would actually refer to her as ugly!

In all fairness, Nicole Eggert was HOTTER during CiC, but as time has marched on Nicole isn't as HOT anymore. As for Josie, she's really grown into her body and has taken excellent care of herself over the years. While she was definitely cute during her CiC role, she wasn't as HOT as Nicole was.

Eggert was definitely pegged to be the "Kelly Bundy" of CIC, and Davis was the nerdy, homely, awkward sister. When I saw Davis in a movie, looked at her and thought that she looked very familiar; at this time it had been years since I had watched CIC, then suddenly it hit me that she was the little homely girl from CIC..and WOWwas she pretty. Baio even stated that he was surprised at how stunning Davis was when he saw her for the first time after CICI think he even said he was going to hit on her until he realized who she was (hell, he dated Eggert so I don't know what stopped him). But she as definitely grown into her looks, and not hating on Eggert, but fact for fact, Eggert looks hella old and haggard now. The "ugly duckling" theory is definitely in full swing.

For the longest time, I thought she was at least two years younger than me. she actually about eight months older.

I can't believe she is my age! I used to think she was younger, when CIC was on the air. Hot then, and now.

alot of haters here. funny how this is a josie message board and all you guys can talk about is nicole. nicole is smoking hot and is mom now and has been for since 1998. you guys are not nicole fans but why bash her. she is a sweet person and her dad just died of cancer. she goes use the internet and will not post her because off all the jerks. the nicole board never bashs josie, in fact the don't say anything about her. nicole is a proud mom and works when she wants to. she spends as much time as she can with her daughter and you guys know her daughter could read this somtime very soon. she is too young to understand about all the jerks in the world. please have some respect.

I might be in the minority here, but I always thought Josie was just as pretty as Nicole. It seemed to me Nicole's beauty was played up while Josie's was played down but even so I still thought she was a cute young lady. I had no doubts she would be beautiful once she had the freedom to direct her own appearance.

It's typical hollywoodland. All you have to do for tv to make a girl "ugly" is put glasses on her, put her hair in a pony tail, have her wear jeans instead of skirts, put her next to a prettier girl, ect ect. The nerd girls are always the hotter ones.

Josie is totally hot, growing up, I loved her on Charles in Charge, as someone on here stated, they had a crush on her, so did I! I saw her on some show on E! not too long ago, and I thought my eyes were gonna pop out of my head Josie is totally hot! Nicole Eggert was hot, but halfway through her baywatch run, she went downhill

personally, when i watched "charles in charge" when i was younger (same age as both nicole and josie) i also couldn't understand why everyone i knew was obsessed with nicole and not josie. as said already, not taking anything away from nicole, i just watched it thinking much more highly of josie. people on here are talking about her looks in regards to her body; yes, she has an amazing body, howeverit was always her eyes that killed me. i don't know..back watching "CIC", i think it was always her eyes. they are so blue its unreal. almost reminds me of the book (and films) of "dune". that "blue within blue" eyes. very hypnotizing.
and yes, i've seen her in several things now, and take away the amazing looks, (which can be hard to do) and she is such a good actress. she understands the human aspect so well, it seems. she doesn't need to overdo things to get the point across, she simply acts, and makes it look like she's NOT acting..however you explain that.
i just hope she does more and more work, she's always a pleasure to see work. good luck to her!

Totally agreed, Josie Davis is much better looking than Nicole Eggert anyday of the week.

I am watching the THS on Charles in Charge and I heard someone say she thought she was ugly. I remember watching the show as a kid and thinking, why does everyone act like the shorter one is prettier? Josie is/was so cute and she was tall! Nicolle Eggert is cute, but in a slutty way (which I am a girl, so I don't find so attractive, but still not ugly at all)Josie, I think, has that sofisticated beautiful thing going on and she could be a runway model type beauty. Whereas Nicole, has that Baywatch, Pam Anderson, porno type look.

Yeah, that's confounding to me. I always thought she was much cuter than Nicole Eggert.

I would never say she was UGLY while on Charles In Charge, she certainly is very beautiful now. While I think both Josie and Nicole are pretty, I'd have to say Josie now looks better than Nicole - she's pretty much perfect.
