She's a devout orthodox Jew, and she's going to college right now in D.C. (American University) she isn't acting currently and her brother is the 'star' of the family right now.

She is 20 years old now. Like I said before I have met her and
she is not ugly, I think she needs to wear more fashionable
clothes,do some nice hairstyles and wear a bit more make up.
I am starting to think also that to work as an actress you must have
received great training from a good drama school and be multitalented.
Being pretty helps a lot as well.

Yes,she can look better with more sophisticated and nicer clothes,
different make up,hair styles,etc but that is if she wants to
change her looks. She can make that decision on her own,and by
the way she is 20 years old now.

I think she is a very good actress,it is a shame what show business
has done to her and other child actors. I wish she could work at least
in a soap opera,in Broadway shows and independent films. I think she
would be ideal in a2000 soap since she is really a dramatic actress.

Like I said to just a gymnast I did see her in a bookstore in Texas
in 2012 to be exact and she told me that she was thinking of quitting
acting because she hadn't worked in 2 years,for her that is a long time.
I didn't think it would happen so soon. I suggested her to go to college
meanwhile so she could do something else but she doesn't have plans to do
that. I am wondering what does she do with her time. To get back into acting
she would need a new agent and money to pay one. If she ever dates a movie
producer that would help her get back to films. I saw yesterday the Miracle
Worker,she was on it and liked it. She did a very good job,she was better
than Melissa Gilbert (who is so famous but unfortunately can not do cry
scenes).

She could go the wrong path if she decides to take her clothes off
in a movie or do very violent scenes. These things haven't happened
to her yet,but if she gets really desperate..I don't know. I think she
should stick with script writing if she can do that or maybe do national
tv commercials and do more theatre work to earn a living.

Her brother Jessie writes and produces theatrical shows,
why doesn't she work on those? At least she would be able
to work on those things for awhile.

First of all, I think she's far better than Dakota Fanning and many other child stars, even my parents think hallie is a talented actress. I don't think she'll be over very soon, she's still a kid. If she was over, then she'll be another victim of the movie biz because many talents aren't looked after.

I don't know about you, but I never thought she was very talented. I have seen her in a lot of movies, playing in those Saturday afternoons when nothing else is on. She always try to get all the boring roles and I wished she could be more films with interesting scripts. I dislke the fact that her character is always a enigma or just some strange character. Well, fine, sometimes it is GREAT that a young actress is willing to tackle complicated roles, unlike those Hilary Duff copycats, but her films never really interested me so that is why she never appealed to me. But I am looking forward to her other works, maybe in the future if she ever decides to come back. Maybe some strong supporting role as "that disgruntled teenage daughter" or maybe even a silly little teen movie - her resume actually lacks the basic so-called "family classics."
But we'll see. She needs to be more like Dakota Fanning, in my opinion, haha (Fanning's talented - true - but she has a great resume and directors are willing to cast her with a good script)
