Danielle wasn't that famous though. Chris Brown and Rihanna were huge/are huge. But what would convince you? It's not like you know her. Unfortunately more than half of the female population will be in a abusive relationship at one point (even more than once actually). I don't think she's lying. What you're doing is contributing to a culture of abuse. It's just like those people who say "she/he is lying about being raped and only doing it for attention!". She has talked about the abuse and gotten attention for it. It's assumed that Devon was the abuser because he was also on drugs at the time.

Agreed with many of the prior posters. There were many interviews and statements that implied Devon Sawa. And it wasn't too long after they broke up that she stated she had an abusive ex boyfriend.
I guess I'll cut my losses, and turn my tricks at the magic show..

As someone said, it's been heavily implied that it was Devon Sawa, but there is no reliable source confirming it. I actually look at her Twitter every now and then, and saw that she's following him and they've interacted on there several times. If it was him, they obviously don't have a problem with one another now.
Now she's engaged to someone who is not an actor, and has been with him for a few years. Don't remember his name or really know anything about him. She just mentions him now and then on Twitter.

Matthew and Danielle did date for awhile but I don't think he was the abusive boyfriend she's talking about; I don't think I would still have pics on my IMDB page if Matthew was the one who abused her, those pics of them together woub68ld be deleted or taken down. It could be Devon - but I don't get that vibe about him; he actually seems like a nice guy watching interviews w/him. I guess we never know what goes behind closed doors. I'm sorry she went thru that kind of hell nobody should have to put up w/that.

Actually she never dated Ben Savage. I saw her on Tyra Banks one time doing an interview and she said her and Ben went on a date like early on in the series and that was it. They never actually datedthey only saw each other as friends.

I'm not making excuses for him. I don't even know him. I'm just going by the facts. I've known people who've done hard drugs and acted completely different from when they were sober. Most couldn't even remember what they did until they saw it for themselves on camera.

Don't make excuses for people, abuse is about power, people that don't do drugs abuse people, either physically or verbally. Don't make it out to be a minor thing by saying "but he did hard drugs at the time so I don't think he meant to do that".
