Anyone know why Danielle wasn't in most season 2 of Boy Meets World? She's in a few episodes but not the entire season. Is there a particular reason for that or just the story line focused on Cory?

Up until probably the third season proper, the character of Topanga was really just meant to be recurring. The production team liked wh1c84at Danielle brought to the show and eventually they wrote Topanga as Cory's steady girlfriend from that point on.
