Hmmm, how to describe FF? Not classically beautiful, but attractive and definitely sexy. And like every sexy woman, she conveys a certain assurance, which she retains even when playing an oppressed and vulnerable character, as she did in "Unforgiven."
AND she's a good actress, who almost always offers a strong, solid portrayal of whatever character she's playing.
The only exception in my experience (and this of course is only my opinion) was FF's work in "Titanic." She seemed to be playing a stock figure, rather than a human being. Of course, that might also be the fault of the script, which I haven't read
