OK.was she born in '62 or '64? I've seen both. But anyway.I've seen on other sites where some people have mentioned that she has lupus. That is a rough disease to deal with. Plus, I've seen others mention where she went through a spell of hard drinking. Alcohol abuse will age a person terribly.
When all is said & done though, I still love her & wish her well. To me, (and who am I but just a fan), she will always be beautiful. And I will always love the work she did on "A Different World".

Guy is 48 years old. If she doesn't look wonderful it's because she didn't take the botox road.

I love the woman, but it does look like she has had some work done, botox maybe. I also prefer the natural look, but when in Rome..

You may wish to go to the boards for women who have had plastic surgery and the "plastic grin" you speak of. They are ridiculed for their plastic appearance!
Anyway - what you say is just dead WRONG, that people are more accepting of surgery than a NATURAL woman 35+! Maybe in the Hollywood culture what you say is true but it's not the majority opinion.
By the way - if you'll read my post, my ONLY criticisms of Jasmine were where she DEPARTED from her NATURAL appearance - and had NOTHING to do with the effects of AGE! Read some of my other posts if you will I'm ALWAYS pontificating how I prefer NATURAL beauty!

I have to agree. In later pics she was OK, but didn't have the exquisite beauty and vigor I'd have expected from someone who's as naturally beautiful as she as well as someone with such impeccable pysique, which implies she kept in shape (which tends to keep one looking very young).
The plucked eyebrows make her look older, too. She used to have incredible eyes; they almost looked Mideastern in beauty.

Last time I saw here she was in a movie and looked pretty much the same to me.
She was also on The Parkers, and didn't look bad then, so I really don't know why people are saying she looks old.

Jasmine looks like Hell! I would give her 53 easy. And she has been looking old for a while now. I was think that and that is why I logged on hear to talk about it with others who noticed it too.

I think she is beautiful. I saw her for the first time on Dead Like Me and I was blown away by her beauty. The episode where we relive her death makes her look particulalry stunning as1c84 she dresses like a real woman. I think she is a beautiful woman and an amazing actress and it's just a shame that the show was cancelled because I really enjoyed her on it.
