She is actually a really good actress.
I knew her from Almost Famous but then she went on to do terrible chick flicks and rom-coms. I do know she chose Four Feathers very early in her career over taking a commercial blockbuster like Spiderman which didn't go as planned where one was a commercial/critical failure the other was became a blockbuster.
Anyway, I have seen 3 films that required acting from her Almost Famous, Skeleton Key and The Reluctant Fundamentalist and she is a pretty good actor. She just needs the right material.
Problem is her rom-coms keeps eclipsing her potential.

I'd like to see Kate Hudson in a horror or thriller movie. I'm so used to watching her rom-coms.
