That's a book by Paul L. Maker
The venture you took into horror was the Skeleton Key
In order to be a better actress and a better person
Is you need to realize how great you Mom and Dad, your biological Dad were together because it resulted in you.
So don't be afraid to be angry, mean, or cry because the world isn't always smiling and laughing. Your sons need you most when you have to discipline them. It's not fun but that's the parenting job.
So get a grip on the angry Mom face, scorn, frown, shout, glare at those boys because you can't run away from them like you THINK your Dad did. He just needed to work something out and knew you were safe while he had to do it.
You and your Mom did not let him come back.
