She mentioned it to Kim on their second date. Although she mentioned it just causually, Kim was like "You were married?". At the same scene, Kerry admitted she never thought about having a relationship with a woman. So before she met Kim she never considered being gay.

In this season of ER, Weaver hires a new attending to replace Dr. Lewis. She also has a slip on the ice that worsens her hip in later episodes and after contemplating about hip replacement surgery, Weaver finally goes into surgery. In the upcoming episodes, we'll see Weaver walking without a cane.

i am sorry but she did appear a lot in season 9 and 10, she did not appear so much in season 11

In the first three episodes of this season, some of the scenes the writers wrote for Dr. Lewis (Sherry Stringfield) were rewritten for Dr. Weaver after Stringfield left the show.
However, even after those episodes, it seems she's had more screen time than average this year, as compared to Seasons 9 and 10. Her character will also be featured in several upcoming episodes. I think the creators might be using her more because many fans have been upset she wasn't on screen alot in recent seasons. She has been directing ER episodes too, so she's been staying very active with the show.
