Jason seems to almost always be typcast as a villain. I don't think I have seen him as a good guy, or atleast a normal person in any movie I have seen.

There is also Willem Dafoe, John Malkovich, Sean Bean, Alan Rickman, Jeremy Irons and James Woods. All of them have the range of acting good, bad or complex characters.

This guy is easily one of my favorite actors, he is such a great villain actor. Gary Oldman is the only other one I can think who plays such great villain roles, besides maybe Billy Drago.

I haven't read through all the posts but in "The End Of The Affair" he was a good guy. A priest, actually. It's one of my favorite films of all time. Better than the original film. PBS showed Case Histories last year here in the U.S. I wish they would bring it back.

For those in the US, PBS will be premiering Case Histories this weekend. Jason Isaacs plays a detective with a golden heart which gets him into more trouble than not. The series was written by one of the guys who did both Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes, so you will see some similar touda0ches.
