I haven't watched GH in a while-I started watching again when James Franco signed to guest star for a few months. So I don't know what the other 2 guys before J.J. were like. But I do think Jonathan Jackson's very good in the role.
I have only one complaint: the facial fuzz. It is so NOT a good look! Do you suppose if fans took up a petition and forwarded it to the producers, they could FORCE him to shave?

JJ has already brought more depth and emotion back to the role then Greg Vaughn could ever do. GV was a pretty face and body but he was never Lucky.
I can't see JJ back as Lucky the cop. He needs to get out of the police force ASAP and mingle with Sonny and Luke in the underworld.
and for JJ looking too young, remember he is a married man with 2 children in real life. He has a youthful face, but his eyes convey such maturity and emotion it is lovely to watch again.
I have waited since 1999 to get him back.

Haven't watched much of GH since he left, and none at all for the past 3 or so years. So I'll have to catch up. But soooooooo excited for Jonathan Jackson! I hope he gets to sing on the show, Enation is an awesome band!

he only signed on for six months. So lets see how long he sticks around. Sarah Brown only signed on for six months but ended up staying almost 2 years.

they never should have recast the role of lucky. ever. i haven't even considered these other luckys to be lucky. i hope they do the storyline that way, that it hasn't really been him all this time.

I love Greg Vaughn and he did a great job playing Lucky, but Jonathan is Lucky and always will be. Greg is talented and will be just fine.

I am so excited that Jonathan Jackson is returning to GH! I used to watch GH for many years, but have not watched it in the last few years. My mother and friends keep me updated. Now that JJ is returning as Lucky (he was always my favorite) I will once again be watching GH. Thank God for my DVR!!! Thanks to GH for bringing JJ backyou just gained another viewer.

His first air date is October 27th and I can't wait. I've been waiting for him to return for the last ten years.
