Have no knowledge of his career as a football player but I think he's a good supporting actor, he can be tough as nails and surprisingly really funny when the material's right. I hope he does another movie with Guy Ritchie down the road, him and Jason Statham.

I think he is a good actor,I kinda feel bad for him,all these movies he has been in lately bill him as the star,but he always ends up dead in less than 20 mins

Seriously? He fits the (at least American) image of an English brawler pretty perfectly. It's not like he is out playing romantic leads or anything crazy, he's pretty typecast and he has pretty much always been spot on IMHO.

I don't like Vinny Jones as a person but c'mon, no team in the top English League would pay him and use him if he was a crap player. Please adjust your logic please. Now look at how many acting credits he has since Lock Stock, that is one hell of a lot of roles and people would not hire him for roles and pay him if he was a crap actor. Please adjust your logic.
