Allegedly over an argument about a pay cut. The studio would cut her salary, but she refused to accept that, so they didn't renew her contract. Simple as that.
and CSI:NY died when she left the show. She was my favorite and I stopped watching after her departure. It wasn't the same anymore, and I can't stand Sela Ward her nasal voice drives me crazy.
