Jamie always comes across to me like someone you'd like as a buddy. He'd be entertaining to hang out with, go watch a ball game together or whatever.
But as a performer? Dear God. His stand-up act is just terrible and most of his movies are bad. His Scream character being the exception, not the rule. And to be fair, I also liked him in Three Kings but probably because it was such a small part.
I certainly don't hate him as a person, but as a performer it amazes me that this guy gets work.

Ok, gotta admit what you said is funny. But come on, if Kennedy is given decent material to work with, like he had in Scream, he's really good. Son of the Mask and Malibu's Most Wanted were ill conceived (HORRIBLE) ideas, that he should have turned down after seeing the scripts. But I guess a paycheck is a paycheck. But also shows it can kill your reputation in a heartbeat.

You're being generous. Ten bucks an hour is over minimum wage and more than he deserves.
