The name hadn't even rung a bell until I saw a film with her called Obsessed. She wasn't all that great but their was potential, and with the right director she could become an A-list actress. She even got the looks going for her, even at the age of 38.
When you compare Ali with a Milla Jovovich (39) or a Kate Beckinsale (41), you just can't say that she has less acting talent. Hell, Milla can't act herself out of a box drawn on the side walk with chalk. So why is Ali less popular than Milla and Kate, who are doing just great.
Well, it helps when an actress is engaged to a film director (like Milla and Kate did) instead of a no-good douchy actor like Hayes MacArthur who brings ZERO interesting projects. I mean, she has been in the business for 17 years (!) and people only remember her from tv-series or supporting roles in B-movies.
So here's my advice for Ali (not without a bit of irony).

1. Dump your agent! Cause if he can only provide you with projects like 'You're Not You' or 'The Diabolical' from first time directors or people with no skill whatsoever, he doesn't know his job. You need a manager with connection with Marvel, Warner, Universal and film directors who actually make good movies!
2. Dump your husband! I know, you love him and you have a kid with him. You'll get over it. Believe me, you could be dating upcoming talented British or French film directors who will satisfy you far more then 20 young versions of wealthy Hayes MacArthur. Go for talent and determination, not the seize of his wallet. I can see that you clearly don't give a rats ass about looks, so that should be a helping factor in your dating program.
3. Dump the sophisticated blonde look. It aint helping your career. Start doing some photoshoots, change your looks. Spread the pictures. At the moment you are not 'in the picture'.
4. Rela5b4x. Don't get upset. It's not too late. Unless you don't care about your acting career, and in this case, forget this message altogether.
