I wouldn't say "old" but he looks like he's in his forties instead of his thirties like he is.

He's always looked old even when he was a teenager he looked older than he was.
That's what I was gonna say lol. Joey has ALWAYS looked older than his real age! Idk if it's his body or what, but he never looked his "real age" imounless maybe you're talking about when he was a kid.
But when I was watching old episodes of the show "Brotherly Love", I was SHOCKED (
SHOCKED
I tell you!) to know that on that show Joey was only 19!!!!! O_O He looked easily over 25. He looked good!!! Don't get me wrong. But Joey was only 19/20 on that show. That was back in 1995/1996. I know because Matt his brother was about 15/16 while on that show as well. And they are about 4 years apart.
It's shocking, but yea Joey looked like he was 20-something back even when he was doing his "I Can't Help Myself" music video lol.
Now days, he doesn't look "old" (actually, he keeps himself up very well), but he just looks waxed to the Gods Sometimes when you OVER-do it, people wonder if you're older than you actually are.
If he would just age gracefully, I think he would look fine honestly. He's gotten his hair back, so I think he'll be fine. He doesn't need to look so waxed and "perfect" honestly. I actually preferred his "regular" look on "Brotherly Love". Now days he looks so "fake" Not that HE is fake (He comes off as very genuine actually), but that his LOOK is so fake and contrived it seems.

I came up here to post about the very same thing. I'm his age and I think he looks so old! I remember when he was on "Blossom" and then became a very good recording artist. Right after he said he was releasing a second CD (which seemed to vanish into oblivion almost, I never even saw it in stores or saw a video) he looked like someone popped his balloon!
He's never looked really happy since. He always looked contagiously happy. Nor has he been in the limelight much since.
What happened, I wonder??
