<p dir="auto">If you analyze the Bond movies, you're forced to admit that Q really was teaching Bond the two lessons:</p>
<ol>
<li>Never let them see you bleed (Hide your weakness from your enemies)- Just about every device in the Q arsenal was customized to keep bad guys from realizing that Bond was just a mere mortal. From laser watches to explosive toothpaste, Q's gadgets let Bond seem super human when matched up with his already considerable skill.</li>
<li>Always have an escape plan- They'll take Bond's gun but never the fountain pen with the acid in it. They can take his cell phone but never the short wave radio hidden in his shoe. Bond would be dead without Q. Period.<br />
Frankly, without Desmond, these movies just aren't as much fun.</li>
