<p dir="auto">I'm no music style expert but it sounds of a waltz style, with a touch of barbershop quartet. Paul was the music hall man meets rocker meets storyteller of The Beatles. The song continues a tradition of tapping in to music styles from around 1920s by Paul McCartney eg When I'm 64, Your Mother Should Know, Martha my Dear, Lady Madonna.</p>

<p dir="auto">Honey Pie, You Gave Me The Answer, Good Night Princess, Walking in the Park with Eloise (Jimmie McCartney), maybe there are others.<br />
Music Hall era had some outstanding songs, but Paul's contributions are at least worth mentioning.<br />
