There were some great music in the nineties, indeed. I probably cannot remember everything I liked back then or everything I might like now. Since you mentioned it, Simply Red sounded something I should have paid more heed that time. I did like a band called Ash then, but when I got the whole album to listen to some time ago, I didn't find it particularly good any longer. Maybe the same fate will occur to Echobelly and Kula Shaker as well. I might still like Mike Flower's Pop however.

So no Paul McCartney albums then? Bit cruel to post your long list on this board then.
The 90s was full of riches in songs and albums. Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes. REM had an incredible 5 albums. Spin Doctors - Pocketful of Kryptonite. Crowded House - Woodface. Radiohead's. Pulp's Different Class. Simply Red - Stars. The Verve - Urban Hymns. Sorry Noel but I think Be Here Now was a return to Definitely Maybe-like form and What's the story morning glory was just a load of football terrace singles by comparison. Massive Attack. Meatloaf - Bat out of Hell 2. Welcome to the Neighbourhood. Nirvana - Nevermind. Shania Twain - Come on Over. The Charlatans - Tellin' Stories. Us and Us Only.
A list of great 90s one or two hit wonders acts, such as 4 non blondes, Deep Blue Something, The Rembrandts, Third Eye Blind, Lilys, Len, The Divine Comedy would reveal even more how fun (and often kind of good 'country rock' in tone) the decade was in music.
