i came across a old tv guide issue 5b4from january 1999 which says she'd 22. all i can say is good work meredith! Kevin Williamson said "we found an amazing girl!" Guessing the insecure losers behind the scenes couldn't stand it that she pulled a fast one on them. Good job! Saw her on Californication, yeah!!!!!!

I was shocked when I recently read that too,according to her imdb filmography she was 28 or 29 when she got her first credit,I thought that was about how old she is now.I wonder what her secret is for looking so young.She,s a lovely woman and I always enjoy her when I see her in anything.She,s got one of those smiles that draws everyone to smile too.I,m watching her in an 07 ep of 'Bones' and would never guess she,s over 30 at the time.She,s definitely in my 'Yummy' list.;-)

Well, it wouldn't be the first time an actor played a character younger than their real age. Doesn't anyone else remember Andrea in the original Beverly Hills, 90210 series? Pretty much the same boat.

I remember when she was on "dawsons creek" she was 29. I watched her on "criminal MInds' last night and couldn't get over how much she has aged over the last couple of years! She still looks good but you can definitely tell she is much older now.

What I really admired in DC was that she played Andie as quite young in S2-4 but then when she returned in the series finale (S6), she made her seem much more sophisticated. Of all of the main cast she was the one who was believeable as being much more grown up - even her voice was completely different, much more mature.
I wish she were more recognised for her talent.

She is 40, and no she does not look 20. Meredith is a very attractive woman. With that said, she has a youthful appearance. She probably could play ab68ny role from early 30's and up, but I think the days of her playing a 20 year old are past her.
What I like about her role as Andie Mcphee, is that she portrayed a 16 year old at 29. For the most part she looked 16, but what was even better, she did a very convincing job acting as a 16 year old. Better than some of her cast mates who were a lot closer to 16
