I had the privalige of meeting Carroll O'Connor along with his wife Nancy in the later 90's when he was here in San Francisco doing his play. What a terrific human being he was. My cousin worked for him for many years. Unfortunately the play floppedto be honest it was a fabulous play and Carroll had wrote it himself. But all it takes is one Critic to shoot it down and many people believe what they read and stay away. I very much enjoyed it.
Jean Stapleton had also come to see the play. They had remained very close friends through the years. Found this on YouTubeThis is one of the last times they were together.enjoy!
