I am absolutely tortured trying to identify a TV or mini series from the mid/late 80s.
I was so sure it had Amanda Pays and Tim Thomerson, but I cant find it referenced in either of their pages. Im not 100% on Thomerson but Im almost positive it had Pays.
What I remember was Ms. Pays was an alien who could read minds who ends up getting paired up with a cop or reporter (Thomerson?) while they are chased by another alien group. There was a scene where the guy was kind of having bad thoughts, and the alien girl reads his mind and freaks out, saying something like "Thats disgusting! How can two beings do that with their bodies?" I dont know why thats the only line that sticks out, but its all I have.
I know these are very sparse details but this is kind of a last ditch effort. Thanks to all who read this!

I sort of remembered this series in the 80's. It only lasted a few episodes before it got canceled. I remember it only because Maryam d'abo used to be a Bond girl.

I think it's called "Something Is Out There" (1988). It starred Maryam d'Abo.
