I can't speak for anyone else, but I can definitely feel the difference after using it. I have an old on-the-job injury in my left shoulder that gives me trouble sometimes.
The muscle tenses up and becomes stiff. After lying on my pad for about an hour, the pain goes away, and my shoulder relaxes. It also helps with that other issue I told you about.
There's a heat option that makes the pain relief you get from the massager more effective imo.
