They seemed so happy on their reality show. They were perfect for each other and so in love. I like Jessica better with Nick than who they ended up with. I don't care for the guy Jessica is married to now. Jessica should of had kids with Nick and stayed with him! Nick was her true love.

They really did made a b68cute couple. I never really cared who they are with right now either. It just feels super weird. Too bad they never had kids together. I remember that song Nick did "What's Left of Me".

They weren't the perfect couple he was very verbally and emotionally abusive to her, and she was just too much of a princess to be married to a man like him.

I read (don't remember where) that Jessica stated she knew her marriage was over when she took a trip to Africa that Nick didn't attend because he didn't want to. I think it was for charity/non-profit. However, Nick supposedly didn't want to go because he knew the only reason Jessica went was for publicity.
Plus she took her dad with her on the trip. I don't blame him for not going.

Well it was a reality show that was made before reality shows became fake and scripted and less drama filled so of course they were going to seem happy

Nick & Jessica were a couple I thought would never divorce, especially with her strong religious beliefs and staying a virgin until marriage. I personally was shocked when they got divorced. They looked so happy on their reality show.

From what Nick said, she just out of the blue told him "you know, I think I want a divorce". this was after they had come back from an awards show.
He told her to sleep on it and the next day she said her mind was already made up.
He begged her to go to marriage counselling and she would not do it.
