Just saw the new film (stinks) wow her face doesn't move. So tight & hair/make-up/wardrobe person should be fired. Wig or partial did nothing for her, long fake bangs called attention to her nose/crows feet. Please skip the lip gloss unless you are 13. She could have become a busy character actress instead of an occasional actor who looks young if you blur your eyes. With all that, has a great jazzy singing voice.

Of course she did, after the massive amounts of botox injections. They even nearly erased all those smoking lines above her lips, too. Good for her. She is beautiful. Just hope she doesn't go the Joan Rivers or Dolly Parton route where the face no longer has movement. Miscast on 30 Rock, just horrible.

agree 100% you posted this some 5 years back - she looks almost unrecognizable now, after obviously far more and far too much 'work' done to her face. i used to really love this actress, but she should have aged gracefully - she is a circus freak now and it is scary to look at. she is ruined for me.

I have never seen such rude comments! Mary looks amazing. Put yourself in her shoes and try to acquire roles and not feeling you're looking your best. It looks like she's had a face lift and used fillers around her mouth and eyesperhaps some botox as well. She looks like she's taken special care to still be able to raise her eyebrows and move her forehead.
I think she looks beautiful and comfortable in her own skin. It's 2012let's live and let live.

I saw her guest spot on "Wilfred." If she had a face lift, I'd say that's money well spent.

even when she was young she had kind of a sturdy, angular old lady face. a charactery leading lady. she could be pretty and charming but no glamour girl. her appeal was her realness. now she looks strange, like a disney channel teen playing middle aged.

In some pictures she kinda looks ok, it's just the lack of expression that makes her unrecognisable. She always used her expressions a lot before the surgery.

Meg had some horrific lip-plumping surgery done a year or so ago. It was awful, she looked like a fish. Either she got them removed or it was temporary because she looks better now kind of.

I found your Meg Ryan comment surprising, so I went to her page and saw some pictures of her from just a month ago. I think she looks fine, and quite recognizable.

Yeah, eyes and nose I reckon. Tbh though I don't think it looks too bad.just as long as she leaves it at that. Going overboard is bad, i.e Meg Ryan who I really find unrecognisable now and it's sad.

She definitely looks younger NOW than she did during Gilbert Grape. She had to have had something doneno doubt.

I just watched "The Dead Girl" and her facial work is very noticable. Too bad. I wish she wouldn't have messed with her face it looks so unnatural now. Finally, I have to agree in this movie it looks like her face is plastic.

I just watched her a few weeks ago in that Jodie Foster revenge movie (don't waste your money), and she was terrific (as usual) and looke2000d beautiful, too (as usual). I didn't notice any signs of her having work done. Just a sensational looking woman.
