Her weight loss in the last season of Gilmore Girls was brilliant, she still looked great. However, did you see her in Desperate Housewives? I didn't recognise her, she looks so old. Personally I think it has got to the point where it looks like illness weight loss rather than getting healthy, which is really sad =(

I do not look down on people, just because of their weight, and mask that by feigning concern for their health.

I hate comments like this. No one was being derogatory about Ms Torres, but her previous weight was far from healthy. I don't know what she looks like now, but weight loss is definitely a good thing.
As for the snide comment about other people's looks, to be blunt, most of us don't earn a living based on our looks. And, bottom line, actors and actresses are judged heavily on their looks first and talent second or third (at best).
For what it's worth, I just happened to catch a Dean Martin celebrity roast of Redd Foxx and Ms Torres was one of the roasters. She looked absolutely amazing and just radiated beauty and energy. I do not recall seeing her act lately, however the pictures I see of her retain much of that beauty with an additional maturity. I'm surprised that I can't find pictures of her from the early part of her career.

I KNOW!!! the last couple of seasons of gilmore girls, i noticed that she kept getting heavier and heavier, and i was getting a little worried.
and then a few episodes ago, i was like "WHOA!!!!! SHE LOOKS GREAT!!!!"

Awwit doesn't matter how she's losing the weight, as long as she's doing it in a healthy manner. It's fantastic that she's doing it and she will be healthier. She is looking fantastic! BTW, you ever notice how little people say "You look GREAT!" when you've gained weight and look different, verses when you lose it? I mean, I understand it, but it was just a thought. Anyway
