I love what he's done with Wes Anderson and have been listening to The Royal Tenenbaums soundtrack quite a bit recently. Could anybody recommend some other stuff by him? I've had a brief look at his imdb credits but I have no idea where to start since his body of work seems quite vast. I'm most interested in music similar to what can be found in the Anderson films, but I'd like to listen to any soundtracks that are particularly good. Also, what other composers should I look towards if I like what he's done?
I have to get more pudding for this trip to Hawaii.

try the life aquatic for starters
mothersbaugh hails from rock just as rabin, elfman and many soundtrack composers and also had lots of experience scoring commercials.in that sense he reminds me of john powell, too
