Okay, got a few good reactions to my mention of hoping to write a biography of Miss Dennis. One reply gave me an excellent ideasort of a way to get to the heart of Sandy as she was in public, with everyday people who weren't close friends or relatives. I think I would do a chapter/appendix devoted to anecdotes by fans who met/bumped into/saw live Sandy Dennis herself. If anyone has a story, even second-hand, send the story along with the date, location, and your name or the name of the person who had the encounter to ecargalel@aol.com and I'll see what I can start putting together.
I'm definitely going to try and go ahead with this whole ideaauthorized by the estate or not, I want to do a real study of Sandy as a woman and as an actress.
