he got the scar in 2005 in a motorcycle accident. it took 62 stitches to close.

Yeah I was a little confused about that in the Ruins. Because you can see it but it's really faint and hard to notice, unlike in the Black Donnellys. Maybe they were trying to cover it up or it's just fading with time or something.

I've just seen The Ruins and actually came on here to find out what had happened, as I didn't remember him having a scar on his chin in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. His scar was noticeable, but not as prominent as the one on Brittany Snow's forehead for example. I couldn't stop staring at that when I saw Prom Night a couple of weeks ago.

To anybody who has seen The Ruins (I haven't): is the scar stiil as noticeable?

I doubt if getting in a motorcycle accident will change your voice. It's probably just the result of getting older. As people age their voices change.

I think it also changed the way his voice sounds slightly.he sounds much different in the black donnellys than he did in the CSI episode he did a few years ago.
