my expectations weren't high to begin with and i knew his role was a very small one, but i still can't believe i missed him completely! i went to see the new world today, the film itself was beautiful although a bit boring, and i searched every frame for kirk to no avail.
for a moment i was sure that imdb had made a mistake and kirk wasn't in the new world at all, but i checked and he WAS credited.
so where was he? could it be that his character was only present in the parts of the film that malick decided to cut when the film had already had its premiere? or maybe i'm just blind 😄

What movie are we talking about I love Kirk and I want to make sure I see all the the movies he is in. Is the movie called The new world cause I haven't even heard of this before.

you can see him in the preview that runs on the film site, but just for a split second. I was hoping that he would be in this movie longer than he was on screen in The Thin Red Line, but I 'll just wait till this one hits dvd.
