REBOOT 11/1/13:
What does anybody think of Kirk doing a biopic of Bogart? We never hear much about him in the pre-Bacall days, and it was an interesting life New York Society of all things! And it got even more interesting around the Mayo/Lauren times.
I know Kirk could remake any of the classic Bogart roles. I'm conflicted about this in a way that would be sacrilege. Still, when I think about it, I could drop him into virtually any Bogart role I've ever seen and he'd fit like a hand in a glove, and then add his own 5b4edge. Wouldn't you love to see him yelling "Marie" from the cliff in High Sierra, or just doing the wolf-whistle scene in To Have and Have Not (with the right woman, of course)? He'd be sensational in a remake of The Petrified Forest. Even Casablanca
especially
Casablanca! There's so much more expression in his face than there was in Bogey's (no disrespect to the original).
Chew on it a while. If you're familiar with a lot of Bogart films your mind will boggle.
I'm only in Show Biz by injection
