How in the beep does that happen? When a man whose only original film is a blatant ripoff of a Koontz novel gets voted within the top two-hundred directors of all time, it's time to turn our backs on the collective movie-going audience. This man isn't a director. He's the film worlds' version of a child with a piece of tracing paper.
Argento got 124. Von Trier got 130. De Sica managed to finish ten below him at 197.
Alex Aja. One of the best directors of our lifetime. Alex. beep Aja.

He's a great director. You are talking about how his original film is a Koontz novel rip off, that doesn't really have much to do with his directing in the film. You seem to be confusing writing with directing.
only YOU can prevent PG-13 slasher films

Aja being in ANY "best directors" list is just plain ridiculous.

this list has nothing to do with "content" or "originality". it's based off of their talents as a director. Aja IS an excellent director. the fact that he only makes horror movies is kind of a shame but that doesn't have anything to do with his nearly perfect shots and editing. i have deep respect for Aja.

that whole list is pretty odd, alot of the people on there shouldnt be, but to put kubrick at number one? give me a break, to be honest i find kubrick to be somewhat of a hack, the shining was great, but i mean, a clockwork orange is just eh, it really isnt that great, its just alot of crazyness. 2001? come on, i cant believe how ridiculously over rated that flick is, its insane!!
i dont know maybe its just me but kubrick is FAR from number one.
first you wanna kill me, now you wanna kiss meblow.
