I loved his performances. Including the one on 'I Love Lucy'. He came across as a a very nice guy with a big heart and from reading the posts here seems if he was cast perfectly in many films. I'm watching 'Down These Dark streets' which came on TCM earlier today. Even playing a bad guy he still came off as good.
