I grew up watching John Amos. I liked "Good Times" and "Roots" so Amos' characters were role models to be proud of. I saw interviews of him with Norman Lear on the Arsenio Hall show. He came off as an intelligent black man, something we don't see a lot of in TV. Then I was watching a documentary about John Gotti the lowlife murdering mobster. I saw John Amos at the trial and apparently he was a character witness for Gotti. I then heard Amos say that he liked John Gotti because he had "style". That made me sick. A guy who killed people for a living and brought a lot of crime to our streets is being worshiped by John Amos. Since then I have had a low opinion of Amos.

How do you feel about Frank Sinatra being friends with Lucky Luciano and the rest of the mob. Cause it's the same thing!
