Thanks. Well, movies were a second career choice. Not my primary interest. And said individual has some sway in the industry, and has tried to "guide" my latest efforts using a lot of resources, and with a "parenting" angle in mind. I'm almost 50. And this person has caused a lot of misery in my life.
I only ever wanted to shoot local shorts and distribute them via computer network. But this person, and those he listened to, really had a lack of knowledge of where the industry was going back in the 80s. Arrogant and stupid both professionally, and personally where I'm concerned.
I'm glad someone's liked my reviews. I've tried to be accurate and express my opinion without going overboard too much. But, well, I'm wondering how much interest in film was my idea, verse their ideas. I'll stay off the boards for a while at least.

I think IMDb will miss your reviews. If taking a step away from film will mean this person no longer has the opportunity to interfere, then maybe it will be a good thing for you. Concentrate on other interests which maybe you have neglected up to now.

Well, I won't go into a big post about why, but I've had time to think of how and why I got into film and the film industry, and how my efforts have been blocked by an individual in the media who may or may no think it's their duty to interfere in my life.
This person, a male whose wife is "in on the joke", have illegally interfered in my life for a great many years.
And I'm just not sure I want to stick around anything related to film, because I'm not sure I was all that interested in it in the first place.
But thanks a great deal for the response, and thanks for the link and instructions. Very helpful.
