It is often easy to overlook Ms. Ankers' acting ability, as she often
just screamed or played second fiddle to monsters. But check her out
in 1942's "Sherlock Holmes: Voice of Terror." She is absolutely astounding
as a prostitute named Kitty. I never knew she was this good of an
actress until I saw this film. She was like a young Susan Hayward.
The film is on Youtube, so if you enjoy this beautiful actress you should
check her out in this film. She will blow you away.

Evelyn was really great in Sherlock Holmes: the Voice of Terror.
I am watching her right now in Son of Dracula on Svengoolie on MeTV. Evelyn was truly beautiful in this one.
I also saw her last week on Encore Westerns in Last of the Redmen. She looked fantastic in color.
