Lois was a good friend, and we produced the last film she was in (Bob's Night Out). When we were almost ready to wrap in 1996 my family had a terrible car accident where all of them were severely injured. My Dad, Mother, and Aunt. This is when I rushed back to central CA. and stopped filming. Two days after the accident, I had to get the pick up's of Lois, and had to go back to LA to one day. It was horrible, but Lois helped me through that. I was falling apart and we had 4 locations that one day, and she literally held me up and kept me going. We had lost touch in later years, and only got news after she had passed. Lois was very private person. She was a good friend and a sweet woman, she deserved alot more. She will be missed.

The previous writer seems to realize what happened. In her mini biography it says she was in a car accident,"Suffered a broken jaw, vertebrae and hip in a head-on car collision."
Then at Christmas, the same year, she is alone and commits suicide.
Not hard to connect these and the fact that she was on drugs when she had her accident.
Not all celebrities end well. Many figures who were once held up as role models slip as they gain fame or age. Look at our politicians, sports figures, the list is endless.
The fact that she died in a tragic way doesn't mean she wasn't smart or negate what she wrote at an earlier date.
If we write off tb68he work of every famous person who committed suicide or died of some sort of overdose (including alcohol), we would lose the inspiration and insight of many beloved poets, actors, statesmen, singers.
I am not saying young women should follow her in addiction but they could appreciate her for what she was and learn from her mistakes.

Yeah, what a waste. Talented, rich, and beautful, but smart? I dont think so. Af5b4ter all her positive s h i t about being as agressive as successful men, I dont feel bad for her. What a role model for young girls huh?

Note the date. It's December 23rd, 1999. She is all alone during the Christmas season in a foreign country. Obviously she is suffering from severe clinical depression. Why? Somebody knew and did nothing or did they try and fail? She was only 56. But that is considered "elderly" by today's standards of physical beauty in Hollywood and elsewhere. Maybe what happened to her is more complicated than we can understand, having not known her personally. What a waste.
