I've had the opportunity to meet Tom on two separate occasions at Horror Conventions. Being a fan of his work for some time, I was very happy to find that he is a great person to speak with, very appreciative of his fans. If you have an opportunity to attend a convention that he is a guest at, you won't be disappointed.

And very nice.
I saw him at a Collectormania convention in the UK and tried to take a picture of him from about 20 yards. He saw me taking the picture and called me over so we could get one together and then we had a bit of a chat. It's funny that I'd senn him in plenty of things over the years, particularly Lethal Weapon and always thought he came across as a decent chap. Little did I know 20 years later I'd meet him.
