I just watched the episode of "The Rockford Files" where Tom Selleck first shows up as Lance White and ends up marrying Karen's character. I had the greatest crush on Karen as a kid of around ten and I'm sure I wasn't the only one out there. I first discovered her in "Three's Company" as Denise and later on in her own series, "The Quest" alongside Noah Beery, Perry King and Ray Vitte. I watched that show religiously because of Karen Austin.
Afterwards came the miniseries "Celebrity" where she played Ben Masters' wife and of course, her role as Lana on "Night Court" that same year. It's great to see her working regularly since then along with her SAG appearances on TV. You can't miss Karen: She's got the brightest, most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. What a lady

Agreed! Her eyes and hair are such a gorgeous sight to behold.
I just watched that very same episode of Columbo (with Anthony Andrews as both the murderer and Karen's lover) on MeTV a couple of weeks back but had forgotten that she was in it! On top of her looks, Karen is an excellent actress to boot. It was a pleasant surprise to see her again after so long.
Karen Austin truly is one of the most beautiful women of her time and one of my first, great childhood crushes.
