Dear Ms. Austin:
I have long admired your work in a wide variety of interesting roles (and
commercialssee my post under the commercial appearance thread). I have always
wondered if your role in the made-for-television film "When a Stranger Calls
Back" (1993) was originally larger and was basically excised from the film.
What was shown of you was quite memorable in this eerie little film. Your character's
reaction in the nightclubIt's funny how little small roles and images are the
ones that I most remember from films and television over the years. As my
friends and family will tell you, I have always been blessed (or cursed?) with
a tremendous memory for so many minute details.
I was so sorry that your series "Rodney" was cancelled. Pout! I felt that this
show was just starting to hit stride and real potential.
Best wished for continued success in your career.
Sincerely,
Lee A. Smith
