In the film "Crawlspace" (1986) she reminds me of Bonnie Bedelia and almost like an earlier version of Gillian Anderson or Julianne Moore.

You can see Joyce Van Patten playing the mother (of Alexis Kingston's character) in season 4 of Without A Trace, the 'Viuda Negra' episode. Which is interesting as Talia Balsam had a recurring role in the series as Maria Malone, Jack's wife, in seasons 1 through 3. Between her mother and her father, the definately great, unfortunately late, Martin Balsam, Talia certainly has a good acting pedigree.

What does she (or her mother, for that matter) look like? I can't seem to find any images anywhere.
