in the few interviews I've seen her in, the Australian accent is faint. Does she live in the U.S or elsewhere? It's not as heavy as I thoght it'd be.

Yes she is from Brisbane.in fact Jindalee, which is in the Western suburbs, near where mum lives.

Erm Not all of us have that broad Australian drawl. When visiting other countries, I've been mistaken for an English woman. Also, we DON'T actually say 'Crikey' or 'Chuck a shrimp on the barbie' - for a start, we'd call them prawns and secondly, we actually know that there are other ways of cooking.

well since that's her actual voice, you can't really judge whether or not she did a good voice. she's just been in the u.s. for long enough to have lost a good deal of her australian accent.
