The range between Clint McKay and Bobby Singer is something a good actor could do, and only someone with talent, Jim you make a loveable guy in supernatural and I'm sure youre a lot of people's favorites character. Before I watched supernatural I saw you in dexter, and before I started watching supernatural I saw you had a pretty decent size part in the show, so kinda turned me off from the show a little, then I started watching and I said "there's no way this is the same guy" I never saw range like that before, I truly truly think you're a good actor, and I hope one day you get a big role and you get looked at by the academy, at least get recognized for your good work.

He's certainly is a great character actor, and would love to see him get longer recurring roles like the one on Supernatural. He does plenty of 1 episode things that are great, but would love to see him get a starring role or supporting role in something that really does well, because he deserves it. You know it's just a mater of finding the right part. I agree his range is good, great even. And I've seen plenty of parts in shows with other actors playing a part that I thought "you know Jim Beaver would have done this better" But that's of course just my opinion.
