March 1, 2016: A recent effort has been started by Bixby's "Television Son", Brandon Cruz, to get Bixby a star on the "Hollywood Walk of Fame". A "GoFundMe" page has been started at:( www.gofundme.com/billbixbystarfund/). Cruz was quoted as saying, "Bill deserves this honor, and I think that the fans making it happen will make it even more special" Cruz says on the page that it could cost as much as $65,000 to make his effort happen.

They did not raise enough to be considered year but they raised over $10,000 already! Brandon is hoping to raise the rest by next year. We got about 9 months. I put in a small amount myself.
