ALEX HALEY-being one of the directors of "Roots";(WHAT A COUP!, The last episodes-involving Chicken George, the family, the Civil War and years of Reconstruction)
He acted in RICH MAN,POOR MAN and directed scenes in PART 2
ROOTS would've definitely ENHANCE his directorial resume.
