Yeah, I read that story when it was originally posted. It doesn't really explain anything. There's no reason why and no mention of when she will show up in an ep.

Before it aired, the IMDB had her credited with being in "Adrift" which turned out to be a Michael episode instead of a Sawyer episode. As of today, the IMDB no longer has any Lost episodes on her list.
