I'd love to watch something else with Marc Blucas in it. What's 'Prey for Rock and Roll'?

I disliked him for a long time (mostly due to Riley - I am a Whedon fan, and I usually think his characters are the best parts of his writing, but Riley was a terrible character) until I saw him in "Prey for Rock and Roll". I've liked him ever since then.
I think hating Riley was such a habit for everyone that it rubbed off on the actor, unfortunately. I haven't seen enough of his stuff to know if he's bad or not, but he does tend to get typecast in the annoyingly rigid white bread roles (I think that's why I liked him as Animal in PfR&R so much) that are destined to get thrown over by the heroine for another, more exciting guy.

I have no idea! I think he's a great actor and besides being so hot he really does seem like a good guy:)

I like Marc! He is gorgeous and I didn't even hate Riley despite the fact I love Buffy/Angel. I don't know why everyone hated Riley so much, I didn't particularly love the character but I didn't see anything that wrong with him. Whoever Buffy was with after Angel people were going to hate regardless.

I really disliked Riley (though I think the poor guy was a scapegoat for the general lousiness of Buffy's sb68eason four) and couldn't stand Sheila on Rescue Me, but I love both Blucas and Callie Thorne on Necessary Roughness. It's nice to hear that he's cool in real life, too.
As for the hate, I think some idiots just can't separate the actor from the role.

He's actually a nice person in real life. Talked to him at a game of the NBA's Entertainment League for a few minutes. He was low-key and easy to talk to.

He seriously needs to lose the chin lint though. If you can't grow a beard and you've got a good chin, keep it clean shaven! I'm hoping he's back to the clean cut look now, but I've seen a few photos with the fuzz he's already got a boyish look half assed scruff just makes him look like he hasn't finished puberty yet!

I'm glad he and Buffy didn't end up together also. It was an interesting relationship, but part of what makes Buffy such an inspiring character is how she's always alone in the love section, in the end. Stands alone.

I agree. I think he played his role on Buffy amazingly for his character. I think people didn't like himalmost because he loved Buffy so much, but it wasn't reciprocal.
I think most people liked Buffy with the bad guy or the bad guy-turned good guy. The more dangerous type.
I'm re-watching Season 4 & 5 and I love Riley. At first I didn't really like him but now I definitely love him and I know he's going to be leaving in a couple episodes.
The episode where he leaves always makes me sad he left. Every time.

hahaha, no it isn't. Trust me. I know this is goofy for posting and is going to have about a 20% believability level to most, but I know Marc, and whoever that(Ryan) is, is not her. Her name wouldn't mean anything to you.

Nothing against the guy I didn't like him as Riley. For me it was either Angel, Spike or Graham (probably would have been more interesting). I still like it other works.thinkless, lighthearted fun pictures

I like him, but don't think he's a great actor.maybe lacks range. Still, I hope he has some success. That said.I'm a HUGE Buffy fan, and thought he was good as Riley, but yeahpeople would never have liked him b/c everyone always wanted Buffy w/ Angel. I liked her and Spike together actually!
