This lady was billed as "introducing Delle Bolton" in the film Jeremiah Johnson, starring Robert Redford in 1972. Her part was small, and the little speech she got was in native American language, but her role was important to the story. I am curious to discover what became of her after Jeremiah Johnson. It is the only movie credit she has and no information is available about her on any of the actor/cinema sites.
If anyone can cast a light on what happened to her after this one screen appearance I will be pleased to know.

You know how in most cowboys and Indian movies from past, the Indians are played by white people w/ dirt on their face. Well, my question is, is Delle a real native american?

FWIW..In the commentary on the Blu-ray, Sydney Pollack said she was not Native American, but had the right look he wanted for the movie.

My recollection of Delle was that she seemed very shy in front of the camera, although I'm sure that's what playing her character called for. Maybe it was just good acting, maybe she just didn't feel at home. I think Delle was probably at least part NA Indian.

Funny, I just brought this movie up due to the same question. I saw it again for the first time in many years, and wondered what had become of the actress who played Swan.

Just saw Delle in Jerimiah Johnson on AMC. I, too, wonder whatever happened to her. She was good in the part of Swan and certainly easy on the eyes as well. I wonder why she would be evasive on the issue of the movie? Perhaps it really wasn't a good experience for her but do wish she had continued on to other roles.

I believe she is a school administrator for gifted children in California.
I'm pretty sure she married a guy that did some of the music in a couple of Redfords productions between 1972 and 74.
I did call her once but for reasons known only to her she was very evasive on the issue of the movie.
